Grassroots Friday - Issue #29

Andy Bakker
Andy Bakker
I could not believe that I had to pay $5.35 per gallon in New Lenox last night. I’m not surprised sometimes when that happens in the city, and even in Cook County, but that was an eye-opener.
Governor Pritzker and legislative Democrats can’t hide the price of gas.
Illinoisans feel the effects of their disastrous policies.
The best thing that we can do is provide them with an outlet. We’re building a movement to make sure they are not alone in their suffering and that there is something they can do about it.
People that I talk to at the door are upset.
We’ll show them how to fight back. Tomorrow is a big day - it’s a statewide day of action. In most jurisdictions, early voting is underway for the primaries.
Things are heating up.
To keep up, our team is growing - and we need your help as we expand. Illinois Opportunity Project is hiring Field Directors and a Data Director for an issue advocacy campaign in the Chicago suburbs.
Please share these job descriptions with anyone who might be interested.
