It’s that time.
Although we’ve stayed out of the primaries at IOP and in this unofficial newsletter space, so many members of our teams are engaged in campaigns across the state.
It’s an incredibly exciting time - and a stressful one.
I’d encourage everyone to make sure you’re taking care of yourself through this final push.
Part of that means making sure you vote.
It’s easy to forget while we’re so focused on talking to our neighbors.
Make sure you’re staying hydrated - especially in the heat. Let’s all try and make sure we’re getting at least two meals a day.
It’s going to be a fun weekend and I’m incredibly proud to watch the impact on these races from volunteer leaders who engaged with us on issue advocacy work.
We don’t know how things will play out on Tuesday, but we’re going to be here pushing to change the state of Illinois. We are committed to free-market policy solutions and an Illinois that is number one for job growth with household incomes rising regardless of who wins on Tuesday.
No matter who folks support in the Primary, there’s a place for them on our team.
On the topic of taking care of ourselves through this final stretch, I want to let everyone know that there will be no newsletter next Friday. I hope everybody can take some time off and enjoy a beautiful Fourth of July weekend.
Let’s close this thing out together.
