What a whirlwind that was!
I hope everybody had a fun and refreshing Fourth of July weekend. Recovery is so crucial, particularly now that we’re entering General Election season.
BIG CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who made it through the primary season, win or lose, supporting candidates who want to change the policy direction of Illinois.
Other people have said it, so I won’t belabor the point - now is the time to come together behind our shared goals and values.
At IOP we are launching an Issue/Advocacy effort to reach our neighbors with facts about how policies in Springfield are hurting their families.
We know that there is a large number of Illinoisans who agree with us on policy, but don’t always take the action needed to change it.
This campaign is focused on policy change. Illinois needs to lower taxes, root out corruption, and support our law enforcement officers.
We think this is a great way to reach the great number of persuadable folks who are out there dissatisfied with the direction that this state is headed.
We recently added staff in the suburbs and Metro East and are looking to grow.
