Grassroots Friday - Issue #39

Andy Bakker
Andy Bakker
I started this newsletter as an unofficial way to keep in touch with our core group of volunteers that made issue advocacy calls during the 2021 legislative session and afterward. Frankly, I saw a need for a weekly list of walks and events that conservatives could go to.
Naturally though, it’s always been adjacent to the work that I’m doing each week.
Right now my team and I are transitioning away from IOP Grassroots work to a consulting based model where we can work with candidates directly.
IOP is still here and I’m still on in a much lighter capacity. Katie is going to keep cranking out awesome advocacy content and the machine is still rolling.
I’m totally excited for our team to be taking on field work for Darren Bailey statewide and Keith Pekau in the 6th District.
The energy on both of these campaigns is incredible and I hope you’ll join us.
I’m passionate about running campaigns and winning races and I think this is a really incredible opportunity to make change in Illinois and in Washington.
