Grassroots Friday - Issue #9

Christmas is almost here! This will be the last newsletter until after the new year and it’ll be a quick one.

I’m enjoying time with my family in Philadelphia and catching some rest.

We had a really awesome year y'all. Thank you.

From the fight against the ISBE Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Standards, to the maps, to the recall initiative we built from nothing, we’ve laid a foundation for 2022. We have a network that we can activate for petitioning.

We’re moving forward with a statewide day of action on January 15th - the first Saturday of petition season.

Once we all get through the holidays, we’ll start locking in times and locations.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Edwardsville and the surrounding communities after the tornadoes.
